Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police Endorse Kleefisch for Governor
Solidifies Kleefisch’s Position as Law Enforcement’s Pick for Governor

[Waukesha, WI] – The Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police announced their support for Rebecca Kleefisch’s campaign for governor, solidifying Kleefisch as law enforcement’s pick to lead Wisconsin. The group, which boasts more than 2,500 members, announced its endorsement of Kleefisch on Thursday.

“Rebecca Kleefisch recognizes the difficulties of modern policing and the sacrifices law enforcement officers, and their families make,” said Ryan Windorff, President of the Wisconsin State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police. “With violent crime out of control in our cities and record low law enforcement recruitment and retention, Wisconsin needs leadership that stands WITH law enforcement to confront these issues. Rebecca has demonstrated that she will work with law enforcement to restore law and order and re-fund the police and she has the experience to deliver on these plans. The men and women of the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police are proud to stand with Rebecca and issue our endorsement for her to be Wisconsin’s next Governor.”

“I’m honored to be law enforcement’s pick to lead Wisconsin. As governor, I promise to stand up and fight for the people who spend their days protecting us,” Rebecca Kleefisch said in a statement. “Tony Evers has sat by while liberal extremists and their anti-police rhetoric have taken over the Democratic Party. As governor, I’ll back the badge and give police the tools they need to take back our streets from criminals.”

The Fraternal Order of Police is the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 364,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges. The Wisconsin State Lodge comprises more than 2,500 members in 22 lodges throughout the state.
