Tony Evers to Give His Last State of the State Address

[Waukesha, WI] – Gov. Tony Evers will give his last state of the state address on Tuesday and will try to explain away a year of economic setbacks, rising crime, and declining student achievement. Ahead of Tony Evers’ last state of the state address, candidate for governor, Rebecca Kleefisch released the following statement:

“Tony Evers will give his last state of the state tonight because the people of Wisconsin can’t afford four more years of his failed leadership. Under Tony Evers’ watch, Wisconsin’s economy is struggling, children in schools are falling behind, and violent crime is on the rise.

“As governor, I will make sure Wisconsin gets back to work, our kids get back to thriving schools, we back the badge, and we give back our government back to the people of Wisconsin. The state of the state is desperate for new leadership. Wisconsin can’t afford four more years of Tony Evers.”
